R's sunflower

This sunflower was given to us by a friend at work. It was about six inches tall when we planted it - now it towers over our six foot fence panels and has the start of a flower at the top. Hope it comes out before we go on holiday.

Busy day - 4 hours up at number two son's school on governor duties. Glad that my gut feeling about some of the decisions we had to take was also felt by the other governors on the panel.

Off to town for an optician's appointment. Turns out I've probably been wearing my contact lenses in the wrong eyes for about a week.....Left with improved vision!
