Plums galore

This is just a few of the ripening plums on our 4 year old plum tree in the front garden. It was covered in blossom in spring which appears to have mainly set so we have a large number of plums coming. A good thing we both like plums, but I think my husband has plans to make plum wine from some of them and I will bottle as much as I can for use over the winter. Last year we had about 20 or so from the tree, and the year before that we had 6 so this year looks like being a bumper crop.
