Usual start to the Fair then ?

It's been lovely weather wise this week, maybe not cloudless skies, but at least sunny. Today is Fair Friday in Glasgow, the Glasgow Fair being the traditional holiday when factories etc used to close for the last full fortnight in July, and the workers had their summer holiday. It's the oldest of similar holidays and dates back to the 12th Century.
In these modern times however, the Fair weekend is the traditional start to a fortnight of rain lol
