Until I was asked to care for the neighbor's hibiscus while they went on vacation, I had never been graced by the prolonged presence of one. They're not getting it back.

So much rain fell this morning; it was glorious. So much humidity came along with it, I thought I might become liquefied if I stayed outside for more than ten minutes.

In between: lunch with special ones accompanied by a snippet of Alice. As mad hatters go, Mr. Depp makes a fine one.
