Leap into the Wild

I have always been grateful to spot a fawn (not sure if this is male or female) but to spot one leaping away from me...I was very happy. Well, I was sad at first because I was hoping for a few posed photos but this was ok by me once I saw it wasn't too blurry!! :) This was captured on my favorite trail walk this evening! We swatted the flies away and were able to get a decent walk in... it seems to be cooling off a bit here.
