Corry's loving it here as much as me. He got up today and went searching for crabs on the rocks at this end of the beach.

In the afternoon we decided to try find a way up to the Red Castle ruins. We were told to walk along the beach the follow the river round a track to the castle but when we got there it stopped on the river and was blocked by trees :(

The only way we could see to get there was to climb right up the steep grass verge to it!!

So up we went...

Corry, kade and Dex managed it fine but i thought i was gonna die! Me and Nic eventually got up, climbing on our knees hahahahahaha

An awesome view from the top was worth the blimb though.

Found a wee path down which ended up on a road. Didn't have a clue where we were and after walking one way for a but turned and went the other. It was only a fluke that we turned up a private road (cos it looked like it headed to the beach) and it came to the houses, fisheries and farm at the bottom of the castle and yup, out onto the beach - which is where we should have went to to get up there in the 1st place as there was a pathway thereup to the Castle DOH!
