We got to Tentsmuir at exactly the right time today, the clouds had parted and the sun was shining but best of all, hardly anyone else was there.

The 4 boys and 2 dogs practically had the huge expanse of sandy beach all to themselves.

They made the most of it and a few hours later still had enough energy in reserve for a walk through the forest before eventually all collapsing in a snoring heap in the car on the way home.
