Hover fly and globe thistle

This was taken during a very brief gap in the rain - the sun was out for about 10 minutes before the next huge grey cloud dumped its rain on us.

Litter pick this morning around the paths and park by son number two's school. Small party but lots of rubbish cleared.

Afternoon was spent making lists and sorting out holiday paperwork. Lots of packing to do this week. Can't wait....
