I love looking at old buildings and finding little pieces like this on the walls describing what the building was originally intended for before it was turned into a hotel, or houses, offices or whatever its current usage is. Most modern buildings dont have little features like this.

I guess i was inspired by watching a piece last night about the Art Decor of London Underground. Guess i've found a subject to hunt for on un-inspiring days like today. It was chucking it down at lunchtime in the big smoke, so my usual lunchtime blipwalk was off the cards. The sun is out now, so i hope it's still there tomorrow lunchtime.
