Chilli

As you can see there are chillis ready to be harvested. And I think they'll feature in tomorrow's dinner. I must try one to see how hot they are.

Today we spent Moot-proofing the terrace. The chest that I think he must have used to get on to the roof has been removed, and we've put plant trays up at the height of the fence to act as an overhang that really should be beyond his ability to climb. Oh and he doesn't get out on his own. He has to have company.

Eventually he will get back to being out on his own but at the moment I think the idea of "roof" is the only one he has. This is not to be encouraged.

I would have told you a bit about my Probetag (trial day) at work but that was postponed last night. Not by me. The bloke I was going to be working with is on holiday so I've to go back in August. "Kein problem" as I said at the time. That's "no problem" in German.
