Eternal love

In Riga, newly wed couples attach a love lock onto a bridge in a park and throw the key away as a symbol of their lasting love and the wedlock.

The tradition seems to be spreading and while taking a sightseeing tour of Tampere with my guests I came across a lot of locks attached to a bridge - a dam that belongs to one of the power stations - over Tammerkoski.

Denis and Ilona's lock particularly caught my eye.
