Catching up on holiday blips...

I spent the day helping my aunt who is moving from a cottage to a retirement flat. She bought the cottage 6 years ago and it has never been very suitable, having a steep narrow staircase which she has to crawl up and down! There was a lot of paperwork from the solicitors regarding the sale and purchase - we spent the morning finding the deeds, filling in the forms and her signing them, then I drove her to the solicitors office which included a few junctions round the M25 ;-(

The firm occupies this wonderful old building in the town centre. We managed to get a parking space opposite - 30 minute limit - and were in and out within 25 minutes. Win!
