A First and Last - Breck's turning 1!

Bitter and sweet these moments to me. I think of this often as I am turning the page on a chapter in my life. Today we celebrated B's first birthday - his 'first', a mommy's last 'first.' He was rookie of the year complete with custom jersey and custom penants for all his friends that came and shared in our fun.

The lighting is not great in my house, and I was frantically changing settings trying to get the shots. This was one of the less blurry ones of B's smooshing of the cake. He really enjoyed himself and consumed well over 50% of the cake that Keky made for him. Such a fun time with family and friends - good memories made.
