People on a Bridge

The Proof

It DOES, on the rarest of occasions, rain in Mississippi in the summer.

Meet Cousin It, a houseplant on vacation outdoors. I learned the hard way last summer that a bunch of my house plants are considered "native" by local insects, and are therefore devoured in a blink of an eye. Cousin It turned out to be a foreigner, and no local bug knows to eat it.

Lucky him, and lucky me.
