Wiedersehen

A quick and early Blip today as we're off for a week or so on holiday tomorrow and there's a fair bit to do before we leave.

Today's Blip is of the redoubtable Moot out on the terrace and being the world's most companionable cat. I believe he knows that we're going away and he's not best chuffed about it. He (and no doubt countless other cats do this) will be off to have a nap in the suitcaes that we have out to pack later on.

This will be longest that we will have been apart. And I'm feeling a little apprehensive about it because I'm soft like that. He will be fine. We have 2 very excellent cat sitters who will take it in turn to feed him and provide company (should he come and ask for it). I'm sure he will relish the time to catch up on his reading or perhaps make a start on his memoirs.

Heading first to Stuttgart for an overnight stay where the plan is to take in a couple of films at the Indian Film Festival. With luck we will see Dhobi Ghat and No One Killed Jessica. Looking forward to that.
