Portrait of a pianist

This is Anton Kuerti, one of the greatest pianists alive today. He gave a recital of Beethoven's 'Diabelli Variations', in his opinion Beethoven's greatest work for the piano. Here Mr Kuerti is explaining how the piece works, how Beethoven took a completely silly piece of music and raised it to infinity by the power of his creative genius. I'm sure you will agree that this musician has a very deep, intelligent expression on his face. Oh, this is a live-in-concert photo.
