Sumi

This is my Sumi. ( 'Soomi'). He's the husbun of my old bunny lady, Nell. They're so similar in markings but easy enough to tell apart; Sumi will be the first down the ramp to see me in the morning, especially if there's banana or wheat biscuits on offer.

He's eight years old, so he's an old bunny man now. He's as bold, boisterous and cheeky as he was when he was a little lad. He's strong but a big softy.

Despite being vaccinated, he contracted mxymatosis in October 2008, though in a relatively mild form thanks to the antibodies he had to protect himself. He made a wonderful recovery and wasn't too bothered with all the fuss.

The bunnies' new run arrived today - this is him in it this evening. He ran around and then flipped his legs in the air mid-run after a few minutes. This is called a 'binky' and is a sure sign of a very happy rabbit. Magic moment!
