Busted air conditioner

There are many, many, many natural ponds, picnic areas, biking trails, and forest preserves within a five-mile radius of my apartment. I intend to explore most of them this year, but I won't be able to with the intense heat wave that's been plaguing us lately.

Anybody who knows me knows that I am not a fan of Illinois, but I have to admit that there are some hidden gems in the Midwest with breathtaking views. You just have to look really hard.
