Derby Practice

A work colleague asked me to take some photos of their Roller Derby team (along with a few others).

This a very interesting and challenging experience for me. The automatic modes that I was used to really weren't doing it to me. The settings automatically jumped up to an ISO setting of 1600 to compensate for the indoor lighting and fast motion. This has led to a whole lot of really grainy looking pictures.

Though disappointing it has made me more determined to learn how to better use the other modes to get the most out of my camera.
