Overview in a different angle

This shot was screaming for the 10/24 lens I borrowed from Martin (mr turbofreetimer).
This is an overview of the machinehall of unit EC 20, the turbines and generator standing on a steelstucture at 13 m above the ground floor.
Next to the alternator (generator) and exciter are two airdryers with hoses connected to them to keep them preserved with dry air. Moist can be disastrous for an alternator (especially when it's a big one like this (611 Megawatts)

In the back: the front of the boiler with the ventilation ducts of the boilerroom.
The ground floor is used again as a temporary store but I'm not so happy with that because a few months ago we had a big tidy up over there.

Some people find it hard to resist open space I guess...
