Junk

After more green ink, a pleasant wander around the Canongate. I often whizz up and down the Canongate, more often than not with a four-legged friend in tow, but today I wandered up and down closes.

The start was to go and see Panmure House, before it gets a muckle glass box dumped on it. Then a quick neb at some recently conserved plans for the New Town.

I don't think the Museum of Edinburgh has had any money spent on it since I was a lad and it really is a bit of a hodge podge of stuff. Lovely squeaky wooden floors though. Above one of the rooms is a gallery that looks not unlike the press that all houses have, filled with stuff that we keep just in case it comes in handy. And when we do need it, can we ever find it?
