Delay

Supposed to catch the 8 am ferry South. Rotten weather, high tides and high wind means the boat is cancelled. More chance the ferry out of Stromness will go but not until late afternoon.

Just after lunch Stromness the snow started to fall. Horrid, wet sideyways driving snow.

By 3pm, the sun comes out, the wind drops, the tide is low and we get a fairly calm crossing.
