less obviously located

After spending the morning unfastening then hand-laundering some birdshit off the seat padding of a free Gumtree-sourced double child-buggy Nicky picked up for her and her pals to use when wrangling multiple children (which was free due to someone finding it covered in birdshit in the garden of the flat they'd just moved into) and trying a few different combinations of dial positions on the washing machine to see if it wanted to play I eventually got to pop out for a trundle whilst Nicky was in Livingston with Edgar visiting some of their Livingston-based associates. After little mis-hap and only a few stops to scrape mud off my components after chancing the Dalmeny-Newbridge path a few too few days after the last rainfall I found two reasonably large bolts sitting in the road within a few hundred metres of each other at Slateford, one on a section of fast downhill almost exactly where a bicycle trying to stay out of the door-zone would go. I once had an instant puncture from running over an Allen key; whilst neither of these would have been able to be flipped up so that the protruding end was held up at the right angle to stab the tyre they wouldn't be much fun to hit at any speed, so I looped back round to collect the first big one and was then in a suitable bolt-spotting mindset to spot the second at the lights a bit further on. Hopefully whatever they fell off is still safe to be on the roads without them.
