Hate

The way the eyes have been scratched out unnerves me; even though it's 500 years ago, it's still potent. Someone bothered to come all the way to a church in the middle of nowhere to do this.
Whatever you think about history, the Civil War, and the church, this is pure hate.
Do we still do this? Yes, it's called fundamentalism.
