Makarora silhouette

Back-Blip #7

I camped at Makarora on my return trip. I'd stayed there over the summer and loved it so much I knew I'd have to go back. I wasn't disappoiinted this time either, though a walk I'd missed first time round turned out to be a bit of a fizzer when I did get to do it this time - it was soooo short!

Got back off the walk just in time to get my camera and catch the last of the day's light silhouetting this cabbage tree and the surrounding mountains. A very nice note to retire on.........
