Peaking Through The Trees

Was a glorious day/night here in Edinburgh.
Went for a wander onto Salisbury Crags.
It's one of those place where no matter how gorgeous it looks in real life,
you can never quite do it justice on photo... or more accurately I can't do it justice!

I suspect if I'd waited around about 45-60mins longer, as the sun was setting, there would have been some fantastic photos opportunities to be had. I'd guess the sun was going to set right behind the castle tonight when viewed from the crags.... so why or why didn't I take that tripod up with me.
Oh well. Will just have to return.
