Cooling Off

Back on early shifts this week, which means being in work for 0730. This always presents me with a bit of a dilemma. When I leave the house at 0600, it is usually quite cool so I dress accordingly. At this time of year, though, come time to leave work at 1430, it means that I look a bit daft in my thick ski-jacket and fleecy long-johns! What to do?

Walked down South Bank on the way to the station and all the kids were running in and out of the fountains to cool off. It wouldn't have taken much for me to join them!

But I shouldn't complain. Off to New York tomorrow where it is apparently 34 degrees. I think that's quite warm, non?

I am hoping my dongly thing will work in Foreign Parts......
