what are we doing today Mummy?

'Day One' of the holidays and the first thing to record is that it is not raining!

Still not much else changes:

Sienna woke up before 7am - "as it is the holidays and exciting."
Older kids stayed in bed with blinds down and tried to sneak in watching a DVD.
None of them knew what we were doing today - even though they had been told many a time.
There was not enough food in the house to feed five growing children.
and...Steve and I still had to go to work!

I think if I asked my Mother about us and holidays she would say "nothing changes"!!! Although of course we would have watched a VHS!
