Japanese Angelica-tree (Aralia elata)

The Aralia elata outside Z's office seems to have had a good year - it's now overloaded with flowers/fruits.

The young shoots are edible.

This Asian species is a close relative of the American species Devil's Walking-stick (Aralia spinosa)
