We decided to paint one of the walls brown as the white wallpaper was no longer very pretty. In addition, we thought it would be nice to create some kind of an effect to the wall and not just paint it brown all over.

We decided to go for a kind of a scratchy look, which my husband achieved by retouching the fresh paint with a plastic bag.

Not sure about you but I like the end result.
