The un-birthday cake!

What a strange day!
I waved Annie off as she left for London with her best friend, Hannah. Fifteen years old, wonderfully and excitingly independent and off to have a great time staying with Mop and finding their way around the tube system on their own! I bet they're having a ball! Tom and I are heading south tomorrow to meet up with the girls on Wednesday.

Meanwhile back in Yorkshire Tom has been celebrating his 13th birthday 2 days early and has spent the day hanging out with friends (including 2 girls!) So exciting times all round!!! The four youngsters came back here for something to eat and sadly everyone was far too self-concious or nervous to eat cake!
So.... here it is - the un-loved, un-eaten, un-birthday cake!
