Captain James Cook

Captain James Cook stands at the shoreline and gazes upon the body of water that bears his name, the Cook Inlet, Alaska.

He is frozen in time and space.

He is wondering: "What the heck is up with this weather? Isn't it spring? It was a lot warmer when I was here last!"



I heard today that in Fairbanks they are plowing the snow from the fields so the arriving Canadian Goose migration have a place to land.

I am going to study up on this global warming thing, I don't understand it.
