These are the details of the processing of the shot above...

Editing was pretty simple (you can always tell when I'm tired because my editing reduces to pretty much nothing!). Anyway, duplicated the background layer in Photoshop, then used Topaz Adjust with the Spicify setting. Set the blend mode to soft light and reduced the opacity of that layer to just under 50% as otherwise it was too harsh. Flattened the layers, then duplicated again, then filter > distort > lens correction and applied a vignette to it. Layer mask, black brush (set on about 80% opacity) to delete the bits of vignette I didn't want.

And that was that.

Topaz adjust is good for shots of textures etc because it gives a load of depth and makes it pop - by duplicating the background layer and applying it to the duplicate layer, you can then control to what extent it 'pops'. Mostly!
