Flower Shot

I have to take the credit for this photo's exposure. Thing is, for some reason the battery powering the camera's exposure meter wasn't working. That meant the shutter speed would be as fast as possible, 1/500s. Looking at the thinly clouded sky, I determined the what now seems like an appropriate aperture opening.

I like the technical quality of this image. It's sharp, the colours are great and it's well exposed. It is uninteresting, but. I confess. I don't even have a clue what this flower is. Anyone?
