Was lovely to be part of the opening reception of the National Museum of Scotland this evening. Drums, speeches, complimentary beverages, floating hippos and sparring peacocks - what more can one ask for in an evening.

A quick drink at the spiegeltent and then a power walk through the streets of Edinburgh home.

So tired but must frost a cake before bed. As you do.
