Snowy Feather

I found this Snow Goose feather om my walk , this morning. There is something special about looking at feathers...the simple complexity, the symmetry, maybe just knowing that it was involved in the magical act of flight, gives them a talisman-like status in the world of objects.

So I challenged myself to try to translate that feeling onto a photo, in an ongoing effort to improve the creative side of my photography, which I feel is lagging behind the technical side.

I don't think I succeeded, but the point is the trying
