Ambleside Sports

The traditional annual 'sports day', held just outside Ambleside, in the Lake District. The fell runners have just set off on the 'Rydal Round' - more or less the Fairfield Horseshoe. The fastest expect to be back in 1h30m. Thats 9 miles and 3000 feet of ascent. I must train harder.
