Celebration

Portrayed here is my mother's mother. She did an amazing job throwing a birthday party for her husband, my grandfather, aged 80, he is. Liisa, as people most often call her, asked me weather this photo would make a cover of one of those fancy fashion magazines. I assured her it would.

What a lovely event it was at my grandparent's home in Central Finland! Even a thunderstorm couldn't ruin the atmosphere created by all the nice folks chatting it away and the tasty buffet featuring everything from savoury to sweet made and baked by Liisa and her helpers. Great weekend on the road away from home!
