Work in Progress.
Stefan (specialist in welding) is grinding the surface of a drainpipe just to make sure whether it's leaking or not.
Because there was still some insulation on it, it was hard to see.
The pipe above it was cracked, that was for sure.
But as we were there it's better to check them all, just in case.
This is the so-called "header space", where all the piping of the heat-exchangers in the boiler come together.
It's not a nice place to be, (still) hot after one day standstill, and full of insulationdust (see the mouthcap Peter on the right is wearing).
It's special steel for high pressure, so the job has to be done by a certified welder and after the welding has been done, it has to be X-rayed.
Tomorrow morning welding will take place.
