Fun day

Had a real fun day today...started with switching the alarm off and turning over for a nother couple of hours...always a good start:-) When I decided it was time to get up I headed out for a run...running was sorely neglected in the first half of this year so I'm working on getting back to where I was before the runs became more sporadic. Just now I'm working on getting out three times a week...this is week two day three and I felt good...quite encouraged by that wee trip out this morning:-)

Came back and did some weights then we all sat down to breakfast.

The Rooster wanted to go to the local sports field to do some long jump so we agreed that after breakfast we would do that.

I have been thinking about geocaching for a wee while so I did a wee bit of internet research this morning and got us all set up so we could do that...discovered that there was a cache 5 minutes from our door so we decided that on the way to the track we would look for that. Success we found it...eventually...and headed to the sports field where the boys did some long jump for a wee while.

After lunch we went out on the bikes and found another two caches...looked for a fourth but it eluded us:-/ We were sure we were in the correct place but we just could not find it...next time.

I think we have the geocaching bug now...there are quite a few in Stirling that we have still to find and who knows what there is to find out on our days out further a field:-) It's quite exciting when you find the cache:-)

Working on getting the barmy army to bed, they really do need an early-ish night...quite a few tears and tantrums today amongst the fun...then the plan is to watch Sex in the City 2 with Mr R...he's making the popcorn at this very moment.
