New Born Calf

On a walk today whilst coming into the lovely village of Rowsley we came upon this new born calf, missing the birth by minutes.
We waited and waited for its first steps but after a few attempts where it fell over we unfortunately couldn't wait any longer and had to leave.
The mother kept passing blood and gore from the birth, which somehow didn't seem gory at all.
