Percy the Barn Owl

Hooray I am now up to date with my blip journal :) There are now entries for every day of our holiday and I particularly liked entries for 20th, 23rd,24th,25th,26th,27th July. It was great to have the time to consider shots and compositions and to be able to take advantage of the beautiful light in Menorca.
Today was another lovely day and an opportunity to get the bikes out and head off into the countryside - we had our favourite stop at the Jinny Ring Craft Centre in Hanbury - great place for coffee and lunuch but also for the working craft shops and studios. Had a great chat with resident artist Mike Salt about giclee prints - how wonderful are they?! Also spied on the violin maker and wanted to be brave to ask for a portrait shot but didn't another day perhaps? The duck pond is a great attraction for young and old and would have chosen punky duck but Percy the Barn Owl stole the day - he is a visitor to the Arden Falconery Centre at the Jinny Ring as his owners are on holiday - perhaps looking a bit grumpy today?
