My sisters summer house

This summer house is at Bømlo, an community of more than 1000 islands on the west coast of Norway. It is originally a small farm. People lived here on a permanent basis until the 1960-70. There is still no road connection and the climate can be harsh.

Today the place is very idyllic, but it is not difficult to imagine how they struggled out here.
