Fact: My pay is two bands below anyone else in the organisation with this level of responsibility.
Realisation: I'm valuing myself as the organisation values me.
Impact: I believe therefore I can't manage this crazy workload:
- managing multiple complex projects (probably too many for any reasonable person)
- managing a pool of staff (mostly temps, some of them useless)
- leading project teams (with all their joyous politics and conflicting agendas)
- business planning and budgets (when everyone forgets to tell me the important stuff because I don't have manager in my title)

Truth: Of course I can

I've done it before. I'm doing it now.

And I'm off to bed.
