I think it'd more accurate to just copy and paste my tweets from today...so here it goes:

5:05AM: Family tradition #1: no matter how many times we say we're gunna be on the road at 5 we're never on the road at 5.
5:12AM: #thingsthatcouldhavebeendoneyesterday packing the car...
5:12AM: #thingsthatcouldhavebeendoneyesterday putting air in jacks bike tires... #wakeupneighbors
5:23AM: Family Vacation tradition #2: Jacks sniffling gets on somebodys nerves by the time we leave the driveway.
5:27AM:And we're on the road...5:27am.
5:28AM:Literally on our block and we almost ran over a rabbit...#badomen.
5:29AM: Family Vacation Tradition #3: "Can we get bagels?" Off the road....
7:50AM: Rest stop #1: some kid got into our car thinking it was is. #newbrother?
10:23AM:This whole "I'll sleep in the car" plan isn't working out. Think its safe to say I've slept an hour in the past 24.
11:47AM: Chesapeake bay bridge tunnel...bridge...tunnel...bridge..tunnel..repeat.
12:54PM: "Welcome to North Carolina!" Awwwwyeah. Loving this rain. Hour to go...#hopefully.

1:50PM: Officially in the Outer Banks!!!!
2:48PM: #IhateTraffic Slow going once we got on the island 14 miles to go...so like another hour. "This is a quagmire"

Got to this restaurant and ate around 3:30 and then finally went to the condo. It's still raining but the sunset looks amazing.. Here's to a good week with even better weather.
