Run Up to Spring

In preparation for a flight the pilot will check the flight controls, instruments, radios, and engine. It's called a run up.

That's where we are with Spring. We are getting ready. It's almost here.

It was warm enough last night that we were able to take a short family walk in the neighborhood.

Today I found a flock of geese on a downtown green. The lakes and ponds are still frozen over so the geese were plucking stuff from the almost melted off lawn of this park. (Next time I'll take my telephoto lens.)

It won't be long now...

So ladies and gentlemen, get ready for Spring! It's about to take off!
