Rosegtal Ponies

You can hire these carriages to take you up and down the Rosegtal which is a fairly long valley. The ponies wear a contraption that stops them pooing on the road, i suspect after sitting behind that for a couple of hours, you probably wouldn't feel like lunch.

We had a very entertaining drive from Stuttgart today. The plan was to drive to Konstanz to see Lake Constance/Bodensee and then on through Switzerland. Alas the weather in Konstanz was horrid and there was a LOT of very slow moving traffic. A quickish shop in a Supermarkt for those things forgotten and we crossed the border into Switzerland. Apparently the route was beside the lake for some way but really all I saw was two pretty identical shades of grey with one marginally drier than the other.

Things picked up when we got to the Alps though. The weather cleared up a good deal and the drive over the Julier Pass used up all my amazed expressions. After a while I was reduced to saying "Wow - sorry for repeating myself". Awesome.
