A Long Day

After breakfast, out to get the bus to Maloja. I thought this would be a cunning idea and no-one else would have though of it. Wrong. So terribly, terribly wrong. The bus was mobbed. Mobbed by unsympathetic people with sharp elbows. It was an unpleasant 55 minutes standing.

The walk for today was along the Silsersee (Lake Sils) and up in the cable car to Furtschellas and from there across to the Corvatsch mid station. The walk across was OK at first and then it produced an Alpine googly that both of us had misread. This involved a lot of going down a horrid path and then going back up another horrid path. Still, it didn't take much to revive spirits.

The views were really something although I've chosen a flower for today. I love the structure of this a lot.
