A Sea of Honey

Morning all,

this drifts into the realms of backblip as i took it yesterday but couldn't get it on..

This year we shall be on holiday for number 1 daughter's arrival into adolescence, so we celebrated early with our now traditional swim party and rounders match!

I had been charged with the boss with taking the underwater photos (again) so i'm lying under the water alternating trying to breathe with staying negatively buoyant and pressing the right buttons without the benefit of my goggles on.....whilst they're all having fun on the inflatable!!

Along with the routine lifeguards they supply for this sort of party we also had our own contingent of trainee lifeguards in the form of my daughter and three of her friends who have just finished the course...

They were rubbish...one of our adult partygoers fell in geting onto the inflatable and found herself underneath it, and instead of saving her, the whole contingent of children decided that as her turn was over, they should all have their go, and leapt onto the inflatable, pushing her further underwater!!!

anyhow, no one drowned, and clearly by the amount of noise and screams of competition that were heard later on the rounders pitch,(and throughout Cranemoor i should think) all was well with the world.

A good day, had by all!!....and a solarised image at wife's request to ensure anonimity!! (although i can't work out which child it is anyway!!)
