What happened, iMovie?

iMovie used to be so simple that it could be explained to 8 year old children in 10 minutes and off they'd go.

Now? It's really hard. I've been putting off using it and even for this quite important project I am considering saying "sod the HD" and digging out some ancient Macbook. Hmph.
